In August, Parents Anonymous® Inc. presented Shared Leadership in Action Training to coordinators of Pathways to Strong, Safe Families, a new family strengthening initiative in South Carolina funded by the Duke Endowment.

By bringing Affiliates, Community Coordinators and Parent Leaders together, they discover the fun and success that Shared Leadership brings as they work hand in hand to strengthen families.

Shared Leadership between parents and professionals is about having fun and working hard together to find the best ways to help strengthen families.

Tanya Long, Parent  Leader from Ohio and member of the National Parent Leadership Team, helped teach South Carolina’s latest Shared Leadership in Action training session, August, 2006.
